Our Careteam

Reception Supervisor

There weren’t pets in Coral’s family home during her time growing up in a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota—she suspects that this only made her want them more. Coral has been working in the veterinary field since she was 18 years old! She’s proud to now care for the pets and animal owners of Las Vegas as Critter Care Animal Hospital’s Reception Supervisor.

Coral first started working in an animal hospital in 2004, then transitioned to an emergency facility where she continued to learn and grow as a veterinary professional. She would remain at the emergency hospital for 11 years before deciding to make a change—Coral joined the Critter Care Animal Hospital family in March of 2017. That June, she became Reception Supervisor! Coral is particularly fond of the rescue work she and the clinic team have done. Most of all, she loves to build relationships with the pet owners of Las Vegas and meet new animal companions every day.

At home, Coral and her two young children share their lives with Jenny, an aging pit bull who loves to wait patiently at the dinner table for scraps. As a family, they love going on fun vacations together—their favorite spot of all time is Disneyland!

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Tiffany has been a pet owner her entire life, and has always felt a close kinship with the earth’s creatures. The fact that her grandmother kept everything from cats and birds to rabbits and turtles only deepened her passion—for Tiffany, veterinary medicine was the only career path out there! She’s been working as a veterinary professional since she was only 16 years old, and she’s proud to continue her journey in animal medicine here at Critter Care Animal Hospital.

Tiffany is a native of Henderson, Nevada and was still in high school when she first started as a dog-walker for a local kennel. She attended the PIMA Medical Institute to earn her veterinary credentials, graduating as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, before launching her career as an animal-care professional. Tiffany joined the Critter Care Animal Hospital family in May of 2017 and couldn’t be happier—she’s especially fond of helping with surgeries and performing foreign-body removals. Her favorite part of the job, though, is watching pets mature over time and getting to know their loving owners.

At home, Tiffany and her girlfriend live with multiple pets of their own. They have four dogs—Agnes the French bulldog; a spoiled Chow mix named Lilly; and two Cavalier King Charles spaniels who go by Tucker and Piper—as well as three cats. Tiffany even belongs to French bulldog and Cavalier King Charles spaniel meet-up organizations, and loves getting together with other breed owners multiple times a year!

Clarissa has had a way with animals ever since she was a little girl—she was always taking in sick or homeless pets and nursing them back to full health. Her early experiences caring for animals made one thing clear: Clarissa would love to tend to pets professionally! She’s able to do just that as a member of Critter Care Animal Hospital’s care team.

Clarissa was born in California but raised here in Las Vegas. She first began in the animal-care world as a volunteer, helping out at a local advocacy organization as well as the SPCA to gain hands-on experience with pets. In the spring of 2017, she was offered a position here at the hospital and gladly accepted—Clarissa works with boarding pets in the kennels, and particularly enjoys helping shy animals to feel comfortable and interact directly with the area’s pet owners.

Outside of work, Clarissa likes practicing meditation and spending quality time with her family and pets at home. She and her family share their lives with Iris, a Chihuahua who is permanently attached at Clarissa’s hip; a tiny Yorkie named Bella; and Megora the rescued Chihuahua mix.
